Regent Motel - Saint John

I stayed in a Queen Bed Room for a couple of nights. The place definitely had character, but the old, saggy bed left us a bit sore. Decent for the price!

I loved the hotel, its well-kept room and helpful staff. My room included central heating, multi-channel television, and a microwave oven. The location was particularly good and excellent in the fairly quiet area.

I expected a luxurious experience but instead got an uncomfortable, smelly room with paper-thin walls! Absolutely no Fundy Bay view, shocking. Plus, when I politely asked for an upgrade, the staff acted as if I didn't even exist. Almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't. Awful place for the price paid!

Oh man, the grilled fish at that local joint was pure magic! Just melting in your mouth! Our Queen Bed Room was spacious enough to kick back after a day of exploring the reversing rapids, which are just a quick drive away. The kitchenette saved us too, perfect for late-night snack runs!

So here's the kicker-while the lodging had its charms, we had an interesting night with a next-door guest who thought he was auditioning for a reality show with all that racket. We tried to get moved, but no dice. Talk about an uncomfortable evening!

Appreciated every detail about our great 3 nights stay here. All the personnel was accommodating. The room was well-kept and clean when upgraded with sparse kitchenette and functional washroom. Excellent and absolutely perfect location close to the ferry was a plus. We did not want to leave, can recommend😃😀

The shower experience was lacking due to low water pressure, which seemed like being pelted by water. The check-in process was slow, and giving my entire information from my license seemed excessive. On the downside, the mattress was soft and left me with some back discomfort. The stay had its highlights, but some improvements are definitely needed.

For a quick getaway, it was ultra clean and reasonably priced. The fridge and microwave were super handy for snacks.

NO FUNDY BAY VIEW!!! Bathroom needs significant upgrades!!! Door locks outdated and not functioning properly!!! The carpet is wrinkled and stained, giving a shabby impression!!! Just fix the plastic shelving already!!!

The queen bed room offered good space, suitable. I appreciated the quiet surroundings, easy to unwind. The staff was attentive and helpful, responding promptly to any requests I had during my two-night stay. Friends mentioned they enjoyed the local attractions nearby.

The entire hotel is rather run down. The floor in the bathroom had a definite slope.
